The Winters Group, Inc., is celebrating our 40th anniversary with our Second Annual Racial Justice at Work Summit held virtually on April 23-25, 2024. If you were unable to send in a proposal to present at this year's summit, we would still love to have you attend and join our community of DEIJ advocates.
- Day 1: Setting the Record Straight takes a look back (Sankofa) to look forward, connecting historical events to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice work today. Presentations will explore relevant history and address misconceptions, misinformation, and disinformation about the history of oppressed peoples around the globe.
- Day 2: Unmute and Speak Your Truth is devoted to acknowledging and addressing the present-day barriers to the pursuit of justice for all, with a special emphasis on storytelling and performance art.
- Day 3: And Still We Rise will be dedicated to the many ways we can collectively reimagine a new future that centers equity and justice.
- Content tracks throughout each day will include “Being” (self-awareness and well-being), “Knowing” (what we need to know to create justice-centered systems), and “Doing” (innovative advice and how-tos for creating a justice-centered future).
